Overview of Acne
Acne, also known as acne vulgaris, is a long-term and common skin condition that occurs when dead skin cells and oil from the skin clog hair follicles. Sebum—oil that helps keep skin from drying out—and dead skin cells plug the pores, which leads to outbreaks of lesions. Typical features of the condition include blackheads or whiteheads, pimples, oily skin, zits and possible scarring.
Acne development process
1. Cause: stacking stratification, pores are blocked;
2. Development: The sebum secretion is strong and accumulated in the pores. If it cannot be excluded in time, it will lead to closed acne;
3. Formation: Microbial invasion and infection in the pores, causing inflammation, forming acne;
4. Explosion: Acne bacillus and inflammation are not suppressed, and severe acne such as redness, swelling, cyst and other severe acne.
Acne at different stages
1. Early acne: excessive horny of hair follicles, increased sebum secretion;
2. Late acne: Keratin and sebum accumulation, plate-layer coagulation formation;
3. Inflammatory pimples and pustules: Propionibacterium acnes proliferation, mild inflammation;
4. Nodules and cysts: Obvious inflammation, scar formation.
Four major types of acne:
1. Non-inflammatory acne, which is white head and blackhead.
The earliest symptoms of acne are divided into open acne and closed acne. Closing acne is what we usually call the white head. Blackheads are due to the greater secretion of skin oil. When the lack of basically correct cleaning, the pore secretion is gradually accumulated and the pores are blocked. After contacting the air, oxidation became blackheads.
2. Pimples are already inflamed, but the acne is not obvious.

3. Pustules are inflamed and acne.
Pustular acne is mainly evolved from pimples. It is generally manifested as acne protruding, accompanied by pustules, and pustules are generally weak, and it is easy to break.
4. Bound nodule, a kind of severe acne.
The cyst acne is mainly manifested in sebaceous gland cysts with different sizes, and the cysts will contain bloody pus with blood. This type is the worst of all acne. If it is not effective for a long time, it is easy to leave deep scars, affecting personal image and self-confidence.
Treatment
Acne treatments work in at least four different ways, including the following: reducing inflammation, hormonal manipulation, killing acnes, and normalizing skin cell shedding and sebum production in the pore to prevent blockage.
